Peel P50 -The Smallest Car-

Peel P50

The Peel P50 was produced by the Peel Engineering Company in 1963. What was so special about it? It remains the smallest car ever made, 99cm wide and 134cm long! The Peel P50 was built to seat one person and a shopping bag. Its maximum speed was only 64km/hour, and couldn't be driven in reverse. To park the Peel P50 was easy, just pull the handle in the front into the parking space. The cars were not very popular, because they were very uncomfortable, noisy, and, with only three wheels, they used to tip over easily. After 3 years, production was stopped forever, making the Peel P50 the smallest and possibly the most useless car ever made.
